The nominal rolls of the BSA Police and its predecessor forces have long been of interest to researchers and former members alike. The rolls are derived from official records of the BSA Police and have been brought together through sustained private research rather than as a single published register. The original work on compiling the nominal roll was researched and assembled by Ken Standford (4549) Smith and his wife, Dorothy, drawing on service documentation and contemporaneous records. Since that time, the list has been maintained, updated, and curated by Andrew Field (8646), with ongoing effort to preserve accuracy and completeness as further material becomes available.
