The Inaugural meeting of the Eastern Cape Branch of the BSA Police Regimental Association was held at the Bird Street MOTH Club on the 15th November 1978 with 10 members in attendance. At that time there was a regular monthly get together on the third Wednesday of each month at 18h00 at this same venue. This remained the official venue of the Eastern Cape branch but with a few other trial venues until the closure and sale of the Bird Street club in the 90’s.

The Eastern Cape branch no longer has set monthly gatherings, and no longer has a dedicated venue, but arrangements can be made by contacting any of the branch committee members.
